Art and Design Technology

Art and Design Technology are planned to link to topics with the opportunities to develop skills and knowledge over time. Children build up skills to produce beautiful pieces of work and are taught to be creators, not consumers. We aim to introduce children to a wide range of artists from different cultures and backgrounds and use a range of stimuli and techniques. We have held events to showcase the children’s work, by giving them an audience and opportunity to talk about their work, including the strategies they use and evaluations of their work.
