School uniform
Clarkson Infant and Nursery School encourages all children to wear school uniform.
Wearing uniform reinforces the childrens’ pride in their school and gives them an important sense of identity and belonging.
However, in line with the government uniform guidance, issued in November 2021,
parents should not have to think about the cost of a school uniform when choosing which school to apply for. Therefore, as a school we will ensure that uniform is affordable. Any uniform at Clarkson Infant and Nursery School does not have to be branded with our school logo.
Please ensure all clothing items and shoes are named.
Main uniform
Jumpers and cardigans - Royal Blue
Polo shirts - White
Trousers/skirts/pinafores/leggings/jogging bottoms - Grey or Black
Shoes or trainers - Black and robust
PE Kit
Please where any dark coloured, unbranded T-shirt and shorts with plimsolls or trainers.

All orders will be delivered to school and we will distribute your clothing to you. Orders usually take between 7-10 working days.
You can, however, purchase school uniform from any clothing store or supermarket etc you wish.
Alternatively, second hand used uniform is often available from school - please just ask at the office.
