We aim for all children to be able to reason and problem solve by applying mathematics to a variety of increasingly complex problems and developing their resilience and perseverance, to enable them to challenge themselves. 

We have written our own long-term and medium-term plans, accompanied by curriculum maps, to ensure children are taught small steps and have opportunities to practise. This was informed by an EEF trial (TeemUp) where two members of staff received high quality CPD.

Doodle Maths is provided for children to do at home, to build upon learning completed at school and also promoted within school.
